Terms of Service

1. About PodcastersFriend

PodcastersFriend coordinates paid podcast-to-podcast promotional campaigns. Buyers purchase promotional reach, and participating podcast hosts may accept paid opportunities to introduce or recommend other podcasts to their audiences.

2. Campaigns and reach

Campaign reach is planned using recent audience or episode-download information associated with participating podcasts. Download-based reach is a measurement basis for campaign inventory and does not mean every download represents a unique person who heard or acted on a promotion.

If qualifying placements collectively fall short of the purchased estimated reach during the applicable measurement window, PodcastersFriend may provide eligible additional or replacement placements as a make-good for the shortfall.

3. No guarantee of results

PodcastersFriend does not guarantee new followers, subscribers, listeners, downloads, sales, leads, revenue, rankings, chart position, or other downstream results. Results depend on factors outside our control, including audience fit, the promoted show's concept and catalog, listener behavior, platform behavior, and host delivery.

4. Matching and placement

Unless otherwise expressly agreed, buyers purchase a managed campaign rather than placement on a specific named podcast. PodcastersFriend determines the campaign mix based on audience fit, available inventory, campaign requirements, and other relevant factors. The number of participating shows may vary.

Podcast publishing schedules vary. An expected campaign window may be provided before payment or confirmation, but individual placement dates can change.

5. Buyer responsibilities

Buyers must provide accurate information about their podcast and may be asked for show links, descriptions, audience information, positioning, and key talking points. Buyers represent that they have the right to provide and authorize use of submitted materials and that their claims are truthful and lawful.

6. Promotion Network participation

Joining the Promotion Network is free and does not guarantee paid opportunities. Hosts may accept or decline each opportunity. Eligibility may depend on audience fit, recent download performance, availability, content suitability, verification, and campaign requirements.

Standard opportunities may use a $25 CPM host payout with a $50 minimum placement payout unless a different amount is stated for a specific opportunity. PodcastersFriend may request reasonable audience or analytics verification.

7. Host responsibilities and disclosure

Hosts accepting a placement agree to provide the agreed promotion accurately and within the agreed parameters. Hosts are responsible for complying with applicable laws, platform rules, and disclosure requirements for paid endorsements or sponsored promotional content.

8. Acceptance and suitability

PodcastersFriend may decline, pause, replace, or cancel a proposed match or campaign when reasonably necessary for audience suitability, safety, legality, platform compliance, suspected fraud, inaccurate information, unavailable inventory, or other legitimate business reasons. Hosts retain the right to decline individual opportunities.

9. Payments, cancellations, and refunds

Campaign pricing and payment terms are presented before purchase. Because podcast inventory may be reserved or committed, cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on campaign status. Campaign-specific terms provided at purchase will control. If PodcastersFriend cannot reasonably fulfill a paid campaign and cannot provide a suitable replacement or make-good, an appropriate full or partial refund may be issued for the unfulfilled portion.

10. Fraud and manipulation

Artificially inflated downloads, bot traffic, falsified analytics, fraudulent audience information, or other manipulation are prohibited. PodcastersFriend may remove participants, withhold payment associated with fraudulent or unverifiable activity where legally permitted, or take other reasonable protective action.

11. Intellectual property

Podcast names, artwork, descriptions, talking points, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. By submitting materials for a campaign, the submitting party grants PodcastersFriend and participating hosts limited permission to use those materials as reasonably necessary to evaluate, coordinate, deliver, and report on the requested promotion.

12. Service changes

PodcastersFriend is an evolving service. We may modify features, pricing, eligibility criteria, campaign structures, or these Terms. Updated Terms will be posted here with a revised effective date.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PodcastersFriend will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy Policy

Effective August 28, 2026

1. Information we collect

We may collect information you voluntarily provide, including your name, email, podcast name and URL, category, audience description, geography, campaign goals, show positioning, download or audience information, and Promotion Network application information.

2. How we use information

We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, evaluate campaign fit, match podcasts and audiences, administer campaigns, communicate with buyers and hosts, verify audience information, maintain the Promotion Network, prevent fraud, improve the service, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Service providers

Third-party services help operate PodcastersFriend. Buyer form submissions may be processed through Formspree, and Promotion Network applications may be collected through Google Forms and stored using Google services. Those providers process information under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.

4. Campaign fulfillment

We may share information reasonably necessary to evaluate or fulfill a campaign with a prospective or participating host or buyer. For example, a host may receive a promoted podcast's public show information and approved talking points. We do not sell personal information as a standalone data product.

5. Data retention

We retain information as reasonably necessary to operate the network, fulfill campaigns, maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Network participants may request removal from active consideration, subject to records we may need to retain.

6. Cookies and website data

The website may be hosted by a third party that processes ordinary technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, and server logs. If analytics, advertising pixels, cookies, or additional tracking are added later, this policy should be updated accordingly.

7. Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the service to protect information under our control. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your choices

You may contact PodcastersFriend to request correction or deletion of personal information you submitted or removal from active Promotion Network consideration. Some information may be retained for completed transactions, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or legitimate business records.

9. Children's privacy

PodcastersFriend is intended for adults and business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as PodcastersFriend changes. The current version and effective date will be posted here.
